Too Competitive? Maybe Not.
Don’t ever let anyone tell you that something is too competitive. Once you subtract the people who don’t work very hard, or the people who aren’t as good as you, your competition shrinks dramatically.
- Maggie Mason, entrepreneur, author, and founder of Mighty Goods
This is why I love competition. At work. At play. Even on vacation. A healthy dose of competition is so fulfilling despite a win or a loss or getting ridden off the back. There’s always someone better at something than you are. There’s always someone practicing. There’s always someone training.
Being that someone gets you into game mode and increases your chances for a top ten. Or a podium finish. Or first place.
