Or not. I’ve gotten used to not riding or eating well. Slowly, week by week I’m getting back into the swing of things; even so much as looking for some goal rides. Last year it was Seattle to Portland in-a-day and the Highline Hammer which I’ve been invited back to.

This year, it might be time for yet another new one. I’m thoughtfully considering one of Carmichael’s climbing camps in the Blue Ridge Mountains. I know, I know I could just do the Assault on Mt. Mitchell (if I got invited) or just go up there for free; but I really like the structured camp environment with the field tests and feedback one gets from the coaches.

Only sucky thing is that they really promote the Power Bar poops. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but I really like my Hammer Gels and powders. I don’t supposed they can force me to use a certain product in my bottles. But would it put me on the drop list?
