All the Resolutions
A little late for a Wednesday post, I’m ready to write the first article for the new year. Brian says it best when he writes, “And if it all goes to hell tomorrow, at least we had today.”
I won’t tell you not to procrastinate, get trim, eat better, quit smoking or have a great day. You know what you need to do. Or not do. You’ll either do it. Or not.
Something I’ve been doing lately (this is Health and Nutrition Wednesday) is chewing my food more. Chewing my food better(?). Let me explain. I can polish off a large pizza in one sitting. And then I’m bloated, full and don’t feel all that well.
I understand that digestion starts in the mouth and I realized that my stomach and tract were working way hard too process all the food I was eating. Now, I chew better. Eat slower. Enjoy the company, while eating less. Yes folks, by the time I’m a quarter way through that pizza pie, I’m ready for dessert and done with meal.
