When I first saw this - right out of the gate - I was suspicous of its authenticity. You should take that as a compliment.

(Thanks for the extra pictures to show it’s yours.) David Hubby

I recently submitted the above rendering of a CD cover for an amateur photo contest. David, the director changed the requirements a little (because of my and another user’s posts) to include setup shots on how we did it. He was a little skeptical that they weren’t done by us.

I take it completely as a compliment. Thanks, David. Here’s the setup shots. And without further aideu, the copy for the submission.

Ficticious, tortured rocker Corey Zone, who has been known to abuse Advil and Motrin, has finally released his fourth album after a three year hiatus, simply titled NSAID. Corey, a euphemism for Spanish Corazón, knows with all his heart you will like these tracks. The previously released single, Ain’t it Enough? has garnered critical acclaim. Look forward to Corey visting your town to promote his latest endeavor.

Special thanks to Derek Zoolander for art directing and concepting the photoshoot for the album and letting us use one of his “looks”. He calls this one, “El Luchador.” We don’t know why. Corey doesn’t know wrestling. We think Derek is … well, nevermind. Confused?

Strobists: SB-800 on camera fill bounced off ceiling no diffusor, SB-600 behind Corey to wash out the background.

What to do with Cycling? Um … I did the photoshoot before my workout?
