Candice Murray a.k.a. “The Mother of Oregon Bike Racing”. While looking for a picture to post for Tuesday Night’s Finale, I thought this one of Candi more than suffices; and while Tuesday’s Series is over, there’s still lots of racing and work to be done. This year marks Candi’s last year as she is retiring. She will be missed as having organized (along with her family) a strong, well thought out racing environment for Oregonians.

I haven’t ridden in days. It feels good. But as I watched the racers round the corners and sprint for primes, I felt the ‘ol itch to get back on the bike. It was only yesterday that I told the guys I didn’t want to even get near a saddle. Alas, tonight my thoughts are exactly the opposite.
