whew. been keeping a steady stream of ibuprofen since 9 am sunday ‘cept for right before bedtime. i told heidi i was wondering why by back, legs, and shoulders hurt so bad since i was fine earlier. then it hit me. i missed a dose ;)
oh. and i can’t stop eating. or drinking. soooo hungry! sleepy too!
rest stops seven and eight were pretty much packing up as i left each one. that last twenty-five miles took all i could to keep going down the road.
i arrived at the campus with a 7:50 minute ride time. 9:00 hour total on the road with stops. 13.5 ave mph. i can’t believe they let me finish. i thought sooner or later the sag wagon would just pick me up. i didn’t finsh last, but i was definitely close! :)
the festivities were over when i got there. but i don’t mind. the volunteers stuck it out to wait the us stragglers. i was pleased to find audra and karen still handing out sandwiches! i had two. the ride support on the course was phenom all the way to the end.
